Today my number one item I am grateful for is Spring!
I love the warm weather, I am really looking forward to getting out and enjoying nature. I'm hoping to start jogging again... (a really great way to leave the world behind for a bit, and just enjoy the beautiful weather we are enjoying!) I don't remember the last time that Spring actually happened in the month of March! I love that all the flowers start to bloom, and the beautiful new buds on the trees!
I am also grateful for Christian Music...
I know it might be nerdy, but I love listening to K-love on the radio! It's a radio station that only plays contemporary christian music. (As far as I know, none of the artists are LDS, but I love the messages the music portrays. It often helps me remember I am here on earth to serve the Savior, and that with the help of the Savior I am able to do all things! It definitely helps me remember that even though God is all powerful, I matter to him! =)
This is my latest favorite Christian Singer... Her name is Britt Nicole, and I love the messages she shares through her music!
Today, I am grateful for General Conference...
...to be reminded what a privilege it is to participate in General Conference in a couple weeks!
What a blessing it is to have the knowledge that there is a prophet, here on earth who leads and guides us! Even more, what a beautiful gift that every six months, I have the opportunity to hear from the prophet and apostles who have specifically been called of God to lead and guide us in these the last days! I'm really going to try to prepare better for conference this year, but fasting and praying and really having specific questions that I want answered. I look forward to receiving revelation and inspiration for my life! =)
I absolutely LOVE this picture of the men who have been called of God to direct the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints here on the earth today. President Thomas S. Monson who is the prophet and president of the church is on the right with Elder Henry B. Eyring in the center and Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf on the left. They all gave inspiring talks in October during General Conference and I look forward to their messages coming up at the end of the month.
